Principal

Mary Whittle, Principal Consultant, brings a unique perspective on digital innovation having worked with hundreds of technology industry giants to build globally successful sales and market development plans. Having ushered in some of the most disruptive technologies in history, her unique experience enables her to analyze evolving technologies, evaluate the practicality of adoption and to spearhead innovative business practices that capitalize on developing trends. 

During Mary’s 35+ year technology career, over 25 years were spent in USA based global leadership roles. A core strength of Mary’s is the ability to bring together groups of people to undertake ground-breaking activities that deliver spectacular results. As a result, Strategic Innovation Matters can leverage a broad, global network of technology vendors and solution providers in crafting a regionally tailored strategy for their clients. Mary leverages these relationships as required to bring deep domain expertise into consulting and Board of Director assignments.

Since 2021 Mary has been preparing to refocus the consultancy toward Sustainability. She has taken hundreds of hours of education in Sustainability, Circular Economy, Carbon Accounting and Reporting and has earned board certification in ESG, and Climate specific Governance.
